Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I debated long and hard (for about 3 minutes) about writing a Black Friday post to share with you this Friday to discuss sales and wish list items for Christmas gifts, but decided rather quickly that I just don't feel like it at the moment.  We have plenty of weeks left before Christmas to find some great deals for the special people in your lives.  I have been sort of turned off by the stores opening in the middle of the afternoon ON Thanksgiving Day.  While I understand that some people may not have large families to spend the day with, I still feel utterly sorry for the employees who have to take the time away from their families to work on a holiday meant to highlight and appreciate the blessings in our lives.  So, while I'll be enjoying my family gatherings or elbow deep in preparing dishes to share with my loved ones today - I hope you too are enjoying the people in your lives.

This past month has been very hectic and I hope you slow down to enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday with your family and friends, while taking the time to count your blessings.  We have a lot to be thankful for each and every day of the year, in the good times and in the bad times.  1 Thessalonians 5:18 reiterates this for us so perfectly, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."  Amen, amen, amen.

I'll see you all back here on Monday where we'll continue enjoying pumpkin and other treats as well as dive into the Christmas spirit!

XOXO
