5 Recent Favorite Things

I hope you had a great weekend! Mondays can be tough, but I hope it’s an easy one for you.
Life has been a bit busy lately which is par for the usual course, I guess. So this post will be short and sweet to share with you five of my recent favorite things.

1) I’ve shared this dress before in black and red. I love the fit and style. It has stretch so it’s comfortable yet a bit sassy. It come in six colors and I am refraining from purchasing more than the two I already own. 😂

2) These joggers have become a regular staple for me. I ordered the plain black originally in a small and they’re loose but super comfortable. I ordered the black leopard print (shown below) in a XS and they fit as intended. Very comfortable for errands, working from home, or just lifting weights.
I was wearing my blue light glasses in the photo below. 😉

3) I’ve shared this cover up a couple of times now that I’ve worn it on two vacations. I love it! It comes in black and in “beige shimmer”. I’m wearing the XS and it has stretch to it. I’m also totally into this new Panama hat that I recently purchased in two colors and it’s packable. Love love love.

4) Our new wreath and front door faux floral/plant urn fillers make me happy. After Easter passed, I wanted to switch out to something that would transition the front door from the rest of spring throughout the end of summer. Grandin Road has excellent quality of wreaths and faux florals. This is where I procured the Halloween wreath and garlands last year. I wait until there is a sale and if it says on a single item then I place three orders. 😉

5) My office brings me joy on some days when I turn on my fireplace and my desk is actually tidy. One thing I’ve loved is using this small gold tray to house all of the remotes for this room (fan, fireplace, TV, cable). The exact one comes in a set with two sizes and I used the larger one as a toilet tray in the powder bathroom. It is currently sold out, but I linked similar ones. I also recently switched out my white faux florals for this pink/lavender one I found at Home Goods and it’s made me happy as it pulls in the pink from the rug and the artwork behind me. And to note the marble bowl on my beloved electric fireplace that I found at Target (linked) and use to hold a candle. The peacock dish my sister gave me and I admire it daily.
It’s the little things, really. But in a room that you spend a lot of time in these little things can make a difference.

I used this tote on my recent trip and it’s soft and pretty! I definitely recommend. I also wore the linked sunglasses every day on the trip.
And even though we’re not in cold weather season, I am wearing this cropped half zip pullover in coffeegrey as I am typing this post because my office gets really cold!
