Halloween Table Setting
Hello friends,
Can you believe that October is essentially halfway over? 😭 I am not ready to transition into Thanksgiving planning nor Christmas mode. Where has this year gone? The days have been SHORT, the weeks have been LONG, and the months have been NON-EXISTANT!
Are you gearing up for Halloween? I feel like this year I have actually embraced Halloween more than ever before. I don’t truly know why that may be aside from pulling out my fall decor a week+ later than normal, but truly that wasn’t all that far behind schedule. I guess since I was eager to figure out what items I could use at this new house and what items I could purge encouraged me to just go ahead and decorate for “Fall-O’Ween” versus my usual fall and adding in Halloween on October 1st. All that to be said I am glad I added in new and fun Halloween items this year primarily because the color scheme worked perfectly with our home decor and because I always enjoy having trick-or-treaters. There is just something so darn cute about kids in their Halloween costumes and I’m excited to see what this new neighborhood brings for us this year.
Hopefully next year life will be a little more settled and I can host a Halloween themed dinner!! I know I should have been an event planner because I enjoy these types of things.
So, I rounded up some ideas for Halloween table decor both for adults and/or for kids. Let’s take a look!
In no particular order...
Target
So many cute and kid friendly options! I especially like the spider web placemats and the ghost salad plates. These would be easy to layer with a white dinner plate.

kirkland’s
Kirkland’s is always a favorite place for me to find cute home decor, especially for the holidays.
the dancing skeleton salad plates are so cute!!! And I know I’d get good use out of the serving dishes

Pottery barn
I’m pretty much always a Pottery Barn fan because I think their items are good quality and usually timeless, but the price point can make me flinch at times and so I don’t always splurge.
However, I tend to look at their site and think there are some fun items of quality worth adding in that will last through the years.
The skeleton coffin beverage am serving tub thing is just adorable to me. Not overly spooky and very unique!

Grandin road
The new Halloween decor additions we’ve added this year have primarily been from Grandin Road. I love their quality and always wait until they have a 30% off sale. This isn’t for table top decor, but I wanted to share it in case you’ve missed me posting it on my LTK page. Some items may not be available me any longer but they usually come back in stock…if not this year then next year. Grandin Road comes out with new items each year but also tends to have some of the favorites on repeat.
You can click here to check out some items I’ve linked. We’ve now purchased the door wreath, the garland, and the urn fillers for Halloween. I have previously purchased autumn wreaths from here as well. I cannot rave enough about their quality.
Do you ever host a Halloween themed dinner or party? Where’s your favorite place to buy Halloween or other holiday decor? My favorite places are Marshall’s, Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, Kirkland’s, and At Home as well. Comment below!
