Happy official first day of FALL!
Today is the fall equinox for 2023 and what better way to celebrate than to start planning for all things fall related. To be honest, I begin prepping my home at the beginning of September by slowly getting out all of my pumpkin decor. I personally prefer to start the “holidays” early so I can enjoy them longer. So I decorate with pumpkins from September through October, adding in my small amount of Halloween decor on October 1st. Then, I switch out fall for Christmas somewhere in between November 1st to November 16th (my birthday gift to myself). Yes, I know that’s early for some of you to decorate for either, but it brings me JOY. And in the end, isn’t that what it’s all about when it comes to decorating?
Now, back to this post. I am pulling my list from years past simply because it doesn’t change! I wish we lived where it was cooler and we had seasonal leaves changing color, but…we don’t. That does not stop me from dreaming.
