We’re in election year this year and I find myself wondering where the past four years went? It feels like yesterday and it feels like a lifetime ago at the same time.
So, 2020, here we are. Election time!
Today, September 22nd is National Voter Registration Day. While I have never before known that this was a recognized day I found it to be one that should be encouraged.
I will speak for everyone that this wild year has left us with a lot of emotions regarding our government and I will also note that this is NOT a political post. We all have varying opinions regarding it all which is why this is a really important year to REGISTER TO VOTE!
I personally do not want to sit by and watch things unfold and feel like I may have made a difference.
If you want something or believe in something, or do not want to see something happen or change then REGISTER TO VOTE!
Let’s not let our right to democracy go wasted. Many men and women have fought long and hard for us to have the right to cast our vote.
Here’s some pertinent information if you are not currently a registered voter in Texas:
Dates and deadlines
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
The deadline for registering by mail to vote is (postmarked by) Monday, October 5, 2020.
The deadline to register in person to vote is Monday, October 5, 2020.

The early voting period runs from Tuesday, October 13, 2020 to Friday, October 30, 2020, but dates and hours may vary based on where you live.
That’s all I wanted to share today, friends. I hope you have a great Tuesday!
XOXO
