Happy Friday, friends.
Today is the first day of September!! Woo hoo! We made it!
Given that this is Labor Day weekend I thought I’d share some fall outfits I’ve eyeballed on a few sites so that if any of this catches your eye, you can snag it during the Labor Day sales!
Make sure to pin this image to Pinterest to save it for later as well!
I linked everything in each image to my LikeToKnowIt profile page so if you click on the link associated with each collage it will take you to the list of products. This makes it very easy to shop them! I earn a commission if you shop through any of my links on my blog page, but there is ZERO cost to you to do so. The retailers pay this small amount and it is a little bonus to me for the efforts I put into my blog. 🤍
I absolutely LOVE fall outfits and it pains me I can’t wear more of these cute styles sooner with our hot weather. I tried to pick items that stay close to what I would personally order and wear as well as could potentially be worn for work.
Old Navy has some of the cutest outfits year-round at exceptionally affordable prices. Plus, when they have a sale their clothes are even more affordable! I wash and hang dry my clothes from Old Navy so that I never risk shrinkage. However, I wash and dry husband’s clothes from there and he’s never had a problem with anything shrinking.
I’ve ordered the burgundy crepe dress and the black dress (but ordered it in green) so when they come in and assuming they fit, you’ll get to see them on me later. I also own their faux suede boots from about 7 years ago and they’re still in great shape and very comfortable.

Banana Republic Factory is another go-to site for me. I like their style more than the original Banana Republic styles and the price point is way better with or without sales.
I’ve already previously purchased the open side turtle neck sweater (ordered it in black) and the cropped denim corset.
On my radar: the suede moto vest, the tie-waist jacket, and the slouchy boots. I would LOVE to own the suede dresses and the vegan leather dress but I know my internal body temperature can hardly handle my leather skirts even when it’s cold outside. But, if you live in colder climates and have a normal self regulating internal temperature then please consider them and let me know your thoughts! I think they are ADORABLE!

J. Crew Factory has some fantastic pieces for fall that will never go out of style. Some of them easily transition from warmer weather to cooler weather and then some are made for cooler temps. I am crushing on the bow-mules and the cheetah print sweater. Of course, I estimate that I have about 634 camel color sweaters and 211 ponchos in my closet already but there simply my favorite!

There’s just so many things I love about Abercrombie - even though it can lend itself to a younger generation at times, I think they have adapted through the years to styles I still like at 40 years old. I like their quality and while some things are overpriced in my opinion, I do find items that I think are worth it or I shop their clearance items as well.
I actually purchased the grey mock neck sweater dress last year and it’s back!! I didn’t have the opportunity to wear it last season so I am excited to wear it this season. The style is a classic and the length was perfect for me (not too short or too long). I own some of their body suits and like the quality and I personally love wearing cardigans and blazers that I can take off if/when I get too hot. A cute blazer can really dress up your jeans, too.
I want to try the denim shell dress but I suspect I couldn’t wear it with my internal heat (nemesis), and the floral mesh top and skirt are darling!

Nordstrom is a hit or miss // love-hate store for me. I see others finding cute things there throughout the year but when I look I just get overwhelmed and then tend to skip placing an order for just one thing. Then I’ll go back one day to look and the one thing is sold out and I get discouraged. But goodness, I am always impressed with others’ finds.
So I took some time looking for cute things for y’all. I want you to know that. 😁 I wanted to find things that appealed to me with the idea that if I was going into the office what would I wear? Aside from the cute mini skirt and the pink/red/navy floral dress, the other items seem to be work appropriate and if* I had to go into an office I would give a try.
I do already own two of the Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Lite cardigan and y’all - it’s pricey but its worth it. I wear mine a lot during the winter. I bought two for my Mammaw, too. They’re soft and warm and they have pockets!

I have about 917 items in my Amazon cart at the moment so if and when I pull the trigger on those I’ll keep you posted!
Do you have any fun plans for the long weekend? Our weekend will be low key as we gear up mentally for our window installation next week. And by “we”, I mean me. I am gearing up for it mentally because it will be hot and loud and I will be the one home with the pups while (hard) workers go in and out of our house and then I will be the one cleaning up the inevitable mess of dust and debris left behind. Last time the humidity did a number on caking the influx of debris to the wood floors and I am simply not prepared for the aftermath of scrubbing. Say a prayer for me. 😉
Wishing everyone a great rest of the day and weekend ahead!
XOXO
