Gift Guides - My Favorite Things for Anyone on Your List

Hi there, friends.
Wrapping up the gift guides topic today. I don’t want to bog you down with too many guides and I feel pretty good about the Amazon ones I’ve shared. I shop at a lot of different retailers, primarily online and occasionally in the store. But, given the timing of my posts and the lack of time I’ve had recently to actually write posts, I figured keeping it simple is best this year. Plus, Amazon is prompt. I like prompt. Especially after waiting for a package to arrive for OVER two weeks with umpteen calls to the USPS and to the retailer with virtually zero help, I am pretty frustrated by anything that may arrive by the USPS. The interesting thing is that said retailer mailed the package via UPS and at some point UPS handed if off to USPS. 🤨😒 I’m pretty happy to have a solid form of shipping via FedEx / Amazon.
ANYWAY, today I’m sharing gifts for anyone - no one set in mind. I’ve rounded up things that I personally love that I have and use. It’s a random list which may just make the best present.
Make sure to pin this to Pinterest to save it or share it.
These are NOT listed in any particular order. Are you ready to take a look? Let’s go…
BODY Things:
I’m not even sure how to accurately label this section so I’m just going to go with “body things” as in things to be used on or for the body.
1) I cannot express how much I love this toothbrush/flosser. I’ve had one since 2020 and it finally went caput recently so I ordered a new one. The new one is even better somehow. I had to wait about 5 days to get it because I ordered through Wal-Mart instead of Amazon and let me tell you, when it arrived I literally did a happy dance. A HAPPY DANCE. That’s how much I love this thing. It cleans and freshens your mouth like when you’ve just left the dentist. And, my dental hygienist has even complimented my brushing/flossing. This thing does it all. It’s worth every pretty penny and we may or may not have purchased three of them to give as gifts this year. EVERYONE GETS CLEAN TEETH!
2) I purchased the Tria in 2016 for touch ups in between laser hair removal sessions. I used to use it periodically and then sort of forgot about it for a while until we moved again this year. This thing works, y’all. It’s no where near as strong as a professional laser package from somewhere but it does/has truly slowed and/or killed off some stragglers. I’ve never shared it before because it’s sort of embarrassing but in this day and age I know men and women get laser hair removal so whatever. It is what it is.
I have very sensitive skin in some/most ways and also very oily. That being said, these are non-toxic and made to work for every skin type.
3) The Norwex Face and Body Cloths as well as the Bath Towels are everything. They have patented BacLock in them that protects and inhibits the growth of odor and bacteria, mold, and mildew. You can literally clean your face with just water and no harmful ingredients. I like the original Face and Body Cloths best, but the Plush Bath Towels best. That being said, I use all of them interchangeably. I actually just ordered 6 more of both for our guest bathrooms.
4) The Norwex skin care line just gets better and better. They recently released some new products that I’m loving. The Hydrating Moisturizer and the Cleansing Facial Powder.
The Hydrating Moisturizer has activated glacial water, Sodium Hyaluronate and amino acids in it. It glides on and soaks in without leaving the heaviness other face lotions or serums can leave (because those don’t soak into my skin because I am SO oily). This was a FINALLY* moment for me to have a moisturizer that doesn’t cause me issues.
The Cleansing Facial Powder can be used with the Norwex Face and Body Cloths, creates a cleansing foam, and rinses off easily without any kind of toxic residue. It has Nordic antioxidants and prebiotics in it, too.
For any questions or interest in Norwex and all of their amazing things - please reach out to my sister Jessica. Her contact information is in this link. I use Norwex products for cleaning our home, our laundry, and for my body. There’s sooooo much information to the WHY and HOW that you really should look into it and contact Jessica.
Beauty Things:
Now comes the chemical-laden products I still use. 🙈 I’m sharing these in case someone on your gift list is into makeup.
5) I have used Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation since I first starting wearing foundation in my 20’s. Yes, in my 20’s. It took me that long to wear foundation. I like this because it’s water based and provided excellent coverage - so it lasts the longest on my oily skin and covers my Rosacea. I have tried a dozen different foundations from other brands at every price point through the years and this is still my go-to for real, long lasting coverage.
6) The Sephora Collection Cream (Matte) Lip Stain has worked the best for me through the years. I’ve tried other brands but come back to this brand. It stays on well and doesn’t bleed unless I eat a salad with oily dressing. Their 01-Always Red is my signature red you see me in most, though I have plenty of other shades of reds from them. (Hello, collections like the middle collection below!) Of course, if you shop directly at Sephora you get points and samples, etc. You can also shop Sephora Collection at Kohl’s now.
Lady Things
7) My favorite work out leggings are the Old Navy Power Soft Extra High Waisted 7/8 leggings. I also have them in the cropped length and skorts for the summer, and the joggers and sports bras and jackets and tops. You name it, I own it and use it and 90% of the week I’m wearing them. I wish they had pockets, though. For some reason the “extra high waisted” leggings do not have pockets but the “high waisted” leggings do. This makes a difference for when I run outside and need that side leg pocket for my phone. That being said, I have a long torso so literally every single thing that says high waisted on me is not as high as it is supposed to be.
The Power Soft line at Old Navy is moisture wicking and doesn’t collect lint or pet hair. I think it’s all incredibly comfortable and excellent quality. I’ve yet to have a pair “wear out” after years and years of wearing them non-stop. I do hang dry most of my clothes, but that’s just a personal preference.
They have many different styles within each line of activewear and they have activewear lines for various activities.

Other leggings I love that your female gift recipients might love too:
8) Spanx faux leather leggings - I’ve yet to love any other faux (vegan) leather legging more. They’re comfortable and true to size. The regular length runs long so I fold them under 2-3 inches. They’re available in petite and tall lengths as well as plus sizes now.

9) Spanx Booty Boost 7/8 legging - I wear these out and about, but not to work out in. They’re soft and comfortable! Pending weight fluctuations they’ve fit me tighter in the past and looser now but either way I’ve worn them with comfort. Actually, I wore them the other day to an appointment and to Target and I always* wear them for flights.
10) The Zyia Black Metallic Light n Tight Hi-Rise 7/8 24” leggings - I wear these sort of interchangeably as faux leather leggings. I have also worked out in them. 🖤 They’re comfortable and cute! I have quite a many Zyia Active tops as well. The LTK link does not have the Zyia leggings because I can’t link that specific brand.

Home Things:
11) These are random items of course, but items that have brought me joy since we’ve moved and can be wrapped (implying that I am not listing my favorite home items that are larger).
12) I splurged on this Kendra Scott jewelry box a couple of years ago after watching for it to go on sale and finding either it never did when Kendra Scott had a “sale” or if it did I just missed it each time. Nonetheless, no regrets. I love it.
13) I also splurged on these drop front shoe boxes for husband’s closet and absolutely LOVED them…except he never does close the lids or organize their locations like I originally did and it DRIVES ME INSANE. Thankfully now we have separate closets so I don’t have to look at that unorganized mess. However, he does put his shoes in them so it is/was helpful. =) It gave him 3 times the shoe storage space because there was open shelves and he has a penchant for purchasing shoes.
ELECTRONICS:
14) These are things I use to exercise whether at home and back when I went to the gym.
15) I use this Norwex Active Towel (small) as well - it’s highly absorbent with a suede like texture of microfiber with their patented BacLock antimicrobial agent in it. It also comes in a larger size.
STOCKING STUFFER IDEAS:
Portable Apple watch charger
Christmas coffee mugs (You can add in mini Bailey’s or hot chocolate) or personalized cups. I have and use and love my personalized coffee cups, tumblers, and wine glasses daily.
These soft colored Alohaster highlighters have made me so happy in every way.
A small devotional for him or her
She’s Birdie personal safety alarm - I carry this in my hands every time I get out of the car. Mine is black and I got one for my mom and her bestie. It comes in 5 colors.
Personalized ornament: there are a gagillion options and ways to do this but it would make a nice annual gift and I cherish the ones that have been given to me and the ones I have made for myself on Shutterfly and Etsy. It’s also great for parents and pet pawrents.
Small jewelry - I’m not talking about expensive jewelry as that should be wrapped separately to have a moment of its own. I’m talking about either holiday jewelry (cute!) or “costume jewelry” whether personalized or not.
Candy - always add some kind of candy even if it’s one candy bar. =)
Lottery tickets! Scratch offs work well.
