Can you believe how fast we’re moving through the season? I feel like it was weeks ago that the world got shut down in the beginning of the pandemic. I’m jumping ahead to begin planning for Thanksgiving and Christmas because online shopping will be at an all time high this year and thus sales will be happening early and often!

I thought I’d share a variety of holiday outfit ideas at the various stores I tend to shop at so be on the lookout for two more editions of this type of post showcasing other stores: Nordstroms, J.Crew & Old Navy.
I know the holidays may look radically different this year for most of us. In fact we typically host Thanksgiving and Christmas for our family of over 30 people and this year we will not be taking the risk of holding a large gathering. We’ve made that decision for Thanksgiving, and I suspect Christmas may be the same. =’{
That being said, I have every intention to make the holidays FESTIVE, FUN, and FANCY this year! We typically are pretty casual for the holidays but if it will be a tiny few family members then I think it would be fun to make it more formal. Who’s with me?!?
Now, let’s get to shopping!

My first selection shows various red tops and some sparkling earrings. Red is classic for Christmas time and you can find shirts and sweaters in a variety of red, burgundy, and pink hues that will flatter your skin tone.

In my next selection I chose all whites because it is a perfect winter color. It looks great on most and reminds me of snow. It is always elegant, too.

In my final selection of tops from Macy’s I went with all black. This is my go-to color year round, but it is always a classic and elegant as well. Everyone looks good in this color (whether they like to wear black or not!).
