Date Night Booties!
It's Friday again and thank the good Lord I made it through the week! I am jetting off to Portland, Oregon today as a last minute trip to escape reality. I was originally planned to be somewhere else this weekend but despite everything my heart, soul, and mind desires, a drastic turn of events has set this new plan into motion...
With that said, I'm sending out this quick PSA about my new Madden Girl Ranked Booties that I just got last week. I wore them out to dinner the day after I received them. I HAD to figure out an outfit to wear them with. They are SO cute and sexy, AND majorly comfortable. I had zero issues with my feet that evening and didn't have to break them in.
I tried the Madden Girl Ranked Booties on with a dress before deciding to go with jeans...only to save the dress for another trip. Given the style of the booties, I did have to adjust the length of my jeans a little by folding them under. Don't be afraid to try that! Plus, you may have seen in my What's Up Wednesday post a couple of additional outfits I wore these shoes with after this first attempt I'm sharing here.
I paired the booties with an Ann Taylor black tank, Blank NYC skinny jeans, and a leopard print belt from Old Navy. It flowed perfectly. I accessorized with my vintage Harry Rosenfeld clutch (thanks Konni!), an agate cuff bracelet and turquoise wrap ring made by Cayetano Legacy, and a long pendant necklace I picked up at Ehlers Estate Vineyard in Napa (I don't remember the name of the person who made the jewelry there).
I attempted to snag a picture of the outfit up close, but I still have a ways to go before perfecting a selfie or a blog worthy outfit-in-mirror picture. Bare with me!
