The Perfect Fall Transition Piece
Fall is here! That means we've finally dipped into the low 80's on an occasional day here in Houston. Pretty sad isn't it? I'm yearning to break out my scarves and sweaters! We had a cold front or something of the sorts this past weekend. You know how I know? We had a couple of mornings in the 50's F!! Of course temperatures got into the mid to high 80's F later in the day. Bogus.
That is why I was stoked to find and love the price of this Max Studio cashmere vest at Marshall's! The vest is 100% 2-ply cashmere, so as you can imagine it is super soft! It was a steal at $60 in my opinion plus I love the neutral color. If you see me wearing it over and over again, don't hate. ;) Consider this a quick Friday Fashion post and PSA.
While you all know I can't link a Marshall's find to this post, I do encourage you to go to your local store to look. They have a lot of these types of vests for sale in varying price points as well.
I paired the long vest with white jeans, a white tank, a leopard print belt, and my faux suede booties I mentioned in my previous post. Have I mentioned HOW MUCH I love those booties? I wore them the entire day and my feet didn't hurt. I was on my feet all day shopping for Halloween wreath and Trick-or-Treat bag making essentials for this year's decor. Amazing shoes. The best part is that I was fine in the cool temperatures in the morning as well as the higher heat later in the day as we tipped into the 90's F. Go away summer! Ugh. And yes, I wear white ALL year long. I'm rebellious like that.
