Amazon Spring & Summer Dresses
Hello dear friends!
How was your week? I hope it was uneventful and everyone is healthy. The news isn’t all too optimistic yet, but we WILL get there. Do you have any stay-at-home plans for Easter this weekend? I have an Easter basket for the doggies. =) It is likely we’ll use Easter as an opportunity to order take out to support one of our favorite restaurants since we haven’t been utilizing that option. We’ve been cooking three meals a day over here… Three. That’s three times a day we clean up and do dishes… But, we count our blessings to have food to prepare and our health right now. Praise God!
In other news, I thought I might pass out last week when our weather crept into the 80’s. It has not been a secret around these parts that my hormones or something is off and I am hot all the time when everyone else is cold. I sweat in the house all.the.time. Aside from the heat issue I feel better than I have in four years so I am happy about that. Suffice it to say I am at the beginning of a long summer season with little to no hope of the temperatures improving. So, I said to myself and the hubs that I must order some summer dresses or I won’t survive.
The man is smart and knows how frequently overheated and miserable I am so my smart hubs enthusiastically agreed.
I ordered a bunch of dresses expecting half of them to be returned, but y’all...I loved all of them but two. The two I didn’t like are the same dress just different colors and they’re going to be returned so you won’t even see them here. The hubs liked all of the dresses and approved of me keeping them all. ;) #smartman #happywifehappylife #sweatywifemiserablelife
So I’m linking up today to share these Amazon finds. I received all of them in about 5 days versus 2 because of the shipping priorities right now, but that was way quicker than I was expecting! I decided to actually blow dry my hair and put on my full (normal) makeup to take pictures of myself in each of these dresses for you! I felt like a normal woman for an hour or so before I went right back to my work out clothes and a pony tail so I could work out. =/ But, it was a glorious hour nonetheless.
These are not great photos, I took them myself, I took them quickly, and I tried to get side shots so you could see how the dresses hang.

HUSKARY women’s summer casual dress.
What I love: it’s not too long for me to wear it with thong sandals, it can be dressed up with wedges and a necklace, it has adjustable straps, and it has pockets…I ordered these in XS and while I could always use a a little bit more room up top, I’m VERY happy with the fit of the body of the dress. It’s not baggy. I will hang dry this!

Here’s the dress in stripes! How fun is this one? All the same perks as above and will be super cute for Memorial Day, Independence Day, or any other day. Throw on a chambray shirt or jean jacket and it’s even cuter!

NERLEROLIAN women’s strappy midi.
What I love: everything. This was the first one I put on and I didn’t want to take it off. I felt pretty! I will definitely get this in more colors. It will be cute with casual sandals or dressed up! The straps are adjustable. I ordered a small for size reference.

AMORETU women’s summer casual dress.
What I love: the color, the length is flattering for me (5’4”), and even though it’s like a swing dress I didn’t feel like an elephant in it. If you’re taller than me then you may or may not have success with this. I took a pic showing where my butt cheek is to try to help you gauge the length. I ordered a small for size reference. This comes in options with short sleeves and long sleeves too!

UNBRANDED women’s loose dress.
What I love: it’s long enough for modesty, is flattering at the waist versus puffing out, has pockets, and can be dressed up or down. The fabric is so soft too! I ordered it in black and in navy (both shown below), in size small for size reference. I may could have gone with a medium just so the fabric across the chest is looser but the small fits great (I just won’t dry it in the dryer!)

What I love: the length is appropriate for everything, it fit flatteringly but not too tight, I didn’t have to have it altered, and it was made well. I ordered a small for size reference and wore it to a bridal shower late last year. This style comes in six colors, but it also comes with/in different sleeve options and neck options.
I think that sums it up for now. I have a couple of dresses from Nordstrom to share with you too! Well, it’s the same dress in two colors…but it’s awesome! The hubs and my mom went on and on how good it looked on me…DATE NIGHT MATERIAL! I just don’t want to add it to this post so that I keep these purely Amazon finds!
